“I was on Solferino bridge. It was really early in the morning, I was smoking a cigarette and then…a taxi stopped, a man in a black suit got out. He walked over the riverside of the Seine. He looked very thoughtful. He then, got out an urne with funeral ashes inside. He threw the ashes, they blew everywhere into the Seine. He took two photos, got back into his taxi and left.
I found it quite a sad situation, no emotion in his act, not a situation I would have imagined in Paris, in any case.”
