I have a great passion in life : Japan. I discovered this country through popular culture in particular Manga Books. I then became interested in the culinary arts, music etc. I have come to the point now of studying Japanese art. I am actually currently studying Japanese gardens… Discovering Japan was for me a revelation. This has and will now direct me all my life.

It’s so amazing when you have that kind of “revelation”. I believe a few people can feel it, I guess it’s the reason why they don’t get my passion with Turkey! That experience is truly unique.

Sometimes we were just born into the wrong culture. Thankfully the world is so small now that we can explore every culture and find which one we truly belong in. Congratulations to you girl! You’ve found yourself a lot faster than many of us do. 🙂

I can relate to this! I’ve become obsessed with the Japanese language and passed my first Japanese Language Proficiency Test today, so it was so nice to see this. Good luck with everything you’re going to do in life! (: And remember to embrace your passion(s) no matter what anyone thinks about it.

I was always like that. Still am. Almost everything that comes from that country, from their beautifully imagined animes, to their magnificent architecture, their mystical writing system, their fashion, their humbleness, the Zen, I find it all so beautiful and exciting, maybe even a little familiar.

It’s on my bucket list 🙂 Living in Japan, at least for a while.
